چکیده
The accumulation of potentially toxic elements (PTE) in a soil–rice system poses significant issue concern agricultural soils, particularly the polluted or high PTE geological background regions, such as karst areas. source identification, bioaccumulation factors PTE, and its health risk were investigated by correlation analysis, principal components single/comprehensive assessments soil-rice Mashan County, Guangxi Province. results showed that mean contents rice rhizosphere soil samples higher than surface soil, but lower background. Of samples, 84.21% have Cd content exceeding environmental quality -- control standard for contamination land China (GB 15618-2018) screening value. Nemerow comprehensive pollution index indicated 21.05 26.32% moderately heavily polluted. pH-related exchangeable Ca, Mg, redox-related available Fe Mn affected rice. In all 55.26% 31.58% Pb exceed maximum allowable value contaminants recommended national food safety levels foods 2762-2017). average targeted hazard quotient values (THQ) decreased an order As > Cr Cu Zn Hg, degree it posed to population was Children Female Male. (HI) greater one due THQ more half above 1, which implied residents exposed non-carcinogenic ingestion. Therefore, area with can be absorbed migrated crops, leading humans, should paid attention future research management.

Vulnerability of the karst area related to potentially toxic elements
Soil samples from 31 locations in the Una river spring catchment were subject to chemical extraction analyses. The data were presented as distribution maps of potentially toxic elements (Al, Cu, Mn, Pb and Zn) in the surface soil of the area. To evaluate the vulnerability of the immediate spring zone of the karst catchment, the vulnerability map was derived from the application of the PI method...
متن کاملSoil organic carbon accumulation during post-agricultural succession in a karst area, southwest China
This study was aimed to investigate the direction and magnitude of soil organic carbon (SOC) dynamics and the underlying mechanisms following agricultural abandonment in a subtropical karst area, southwest China. Two post-agriculture succession sequences including grassland (~10 years), shrubland (~29 years), secondary forest (~59 years) and primary forest with cropland as reference were select...

Concerns about dust contamination with potentially toxic elements are especially important in environments such as schools (particularly elementary schools) because children are more vulnerable to contaminants than adults. Therefore, due to the diversity of air pollution sources in Tehran, the present study was conducted to determine the severity of pollution, origin and health risk assessment ...
متن کاملPreliminary Assessment of Health Risks of Potentially Toxic Elements in Settled Dust over Beijing Urban Area
To examine levels, health risks, sources, and spatial distributions of potentially toxic elements in settled dust over Beijing urban area, 62 samples were collected mostly from residential building outdoor surfaces, and their <63 μm fractions were measured for 12 potentially toxic elements. The results show that V, Cr, Mn, Co, Ni, and Ba in dust are from predominantly natural sources, whereas C...
